Attorney, Criminal Defense Practice

Ian Miller

Ian Miller joined the TCPDO in 2025 after graduating from the University of Texas School of Law. Ian earned his B.A. in political science from Amherst College. He brings experience in criminal defense from his work at the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office, the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma, and the Criminal Defense Clinic at Texas Law. He also has experience advocating for better educational accommodations for children with disabilities through the Disability Rights Clinic and assisting Texas residents obtain orders of expunction and nondisclosure for their past offenses through the Expunction Project, both at Texas Law. Ian is a Texan by birth, having grown up in Dallas.

2025 TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 8.0 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $24.73.
