Robert Saulter

Robert joined the Public Defender's Office in September 2023 after serving nearly nine years in the United States Air Force. During his time in the military, Robert represented Airmen accused of crimes at military bases all across the world. Robert earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and earned a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Florida. Prior to law school, Robert taught high school Physics, Biology, and Chemistry for four years in Houston, TX. He also coached basketball and track.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.7 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $34.51.
