Josue was born and raised in the border town of Laredo, Texas where he first developed a desire to help the immigrant community. Josue attended the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a J.D. from the School of Law as well as a B.A. in History and Sociology. During his time as a law student, Josue was a student attorney with the Immigration Clinic where he assisted clients with various different forms of immigration relief. Upon graduating, Josue worked at an immigration firm in Austin, Texas where he gained more insight and skills with regards to representing non-citizen clients. Josue is dedicated to helping those in immigrant communities and values the opportunity to work to ensure safe outcomes for non-citizens.
