Trails End Clean Up
TX 78641, United States
WHAT: Come out for Part 2 of the Trails End cleanup! We got so much done in November that we won't need as large a group this time, but there's still lots of trash to clean up, from rusted cans to mattress springs. We're almost there - let's finish the job we started and help make the preserve beautiful and healthy!
WHEN: Saturday, January 14th from 9am to 12 noon
WHERE: Parking will be at the Travis County ESD (fire station) at 10100 Trails End Road, Leander, TX. You can park in the front parking lot or on the grass behind the building. We'll meet in front of the building in front of the garage door. Google Maps is a little off, so here’s a map showing the correct location: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ruLabd-SuLefxtG9vOmhsfSlnR4&usp=sharing
WHO: The cleanup will be directed by Travis County Balcones Canyonlands Preserve staff.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Water bottles, comfortable closed-toed shoes, long-sleeved shirt and pants you don’t mind getting a little dirty, any needed allergy medications, and either a signed adult or minor waiver form. Adult waiver form: https://www.traviscountytx.gov/images/tnr/docs/bccp/volunteer-liability.pdf
If you are under 18, or bringing a minor with you, please fill out the minor waiver form, which requires a parent/guardian signature: https://www.traviscountytx.gov/images/tnr/docs/bccp/volunteer-liability-minor.pdf
